DEACON MINISTRY
What is a deacon and what does a deacon do?

The New Testament word "deacon" literally means servant.
A deacon is a servant.

At Belview Baptist Church, the Deacon Ministry focuses on just that - SERVICE. The deacons strive to serve the Lord through ministry to others. That ministry takes many forms - teaching, ministering to members in need, serving in the deacon family ministry, prayer, assisting in the observance of the ordinances of the church, just to name a few'

If you look at most any ministry of the church you will find at least one and most likely more than one deacon serving along side others being the Body of Christ.

The goal of Belview Baptist Church’s deacon ministry is simply to minister to others through service, and to stand with and support our staff as they lead our church. Each church member is assigned a deacon and a staff member that prays and ministers to them. This helps us to keep in contact with every member of our church. Fill free to contact your assigned deacon or any of our deacons and staff members.

If you have a need, do not hesitate to ask a deacon.
We are here to serve and minister to you.

Our active deacon's are:

Charlie Joyce, Curtis Powers, Jon Haeffner, Chris Watts, and Charley Collins

Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

Who We Are
We are the Youth Group of Belview Baptist Church. Among our many goals is to help lead teenagers to accept Jesus Christ into their hearts and lives. As it is said in Acts 2:21, "All who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Our Youth Group is made up of Jr. High and High School students 12-18 years old.

We meet on Sundays from 9:45 a.m. til 10:50 a.m. and Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. til 7:30 p.m. Along with our Bible Studies, we talk about things that affect teenagers today and the many temptations and obstacles that are out there corrupting today's youth
.

Our Youth Department is led by Bro. Tony and Sister Mallory Branch.

What we do
Although we meet together on Sundays and Wednesdays our ministry is much more than just meeting inside the church building. Every summer we attend  Falls Creek Youth Camp in Davis, Oklahoma. In the past, it’s been incredible! It’s great to hang out with friends from our church, while meeting hundreds of others from around the state. Plus, you can get away from your younger siblings and parents for a week! If you’re looking for something to do this summer, join us!

MUSIC MINISTRY

Bro. Don Cagle, Minister of Music

Music is a dynamic way of bringing praise and worship to our God and King. In Psalm 92, the psalmist, David tells us; "It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, o most high, to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night."

The vision of our music ministry is to fulfill the "Great Commission" by sharing the gospel through music.

Our goal is to strengthen the ministry of Belview Baptist Church by preparing our people for worship, encouraging the believer and giving

hope to the lost. There is an opportunity for every person of Belview Baptist Church from 4 years of age through adulthood to participate. Please join us as you feel God's call on your family to "Make a joyful noise to the Lord."
